UltraDry™ Matte Firefighting Red 1KG PETG Filament Description

Matte Firefighting Red
Matte Firefighting Red brings a rich, assertive red tone wrapped in a soft, low‑reflective surface that feels modern and purposeful. The matte finish keeps the color grounded and controlled, giving prints a solid, uniform presence without the shine or plastic look of standard reds. Layer transitions appear smooth and consistent, letting the form and silhouette take the spotlight while the color delivers clean, dependable impact.

Perfect for models that need a strong visual statement—characters, props, vehicles, functional parts, and anything where a bold red should feel premium rather than glossy.

Factory Dried. Ready to Print.
Every spool is dried and sealed at the factory using our UltraDry™ process for bubble‑free extrusion, clean walls, and predictable performance — no moisture issues, no wasted filament, no failed prints.

Why PETGUSA PETG performs better

  • UltraDry™ moisture control ensures stable extrusion and perfect surface finish

  • DryFusion™ formulation delivers stronger layer bonding and smoother flow

  • High‑strength PETG blend for durable, functional parts

  • Tight dimensional tolerance for stable flow at high speeds

  • Vivid, accurate color that stays true across production runs

  • Low‑warp formulation ideal for enclosed or open printers

  • Excellent layer adhesion without sacrificing detail

  • Optimized for large industrial printing operations

Perfect for Functional parts, brackets, enclosures, cosplay, RC components, organizers, and everyday prints that need strength without the brittleness of PLA.

Premium PETG filament engineered for makers who demand reliability.
Every spool is UltraDry™ Factory Dried and sealed for consistent, bubble‑free extrusion — giving you smooth walls, strong layer adhesion, and predictable performance on every print.

If you want a filament that prints clean, prints strong, and prints right the first time — this is it.

PETGUSA's Matte Collection

Engineered for low‑reflective surfaces with controlled color diffusion and exceptionally smooth layer transitions. UltraDry™ Certified for moisture‑stable printing with consistent texture and sharp dimensional accuracy.

UltraDry™ PETG 3D Printing Filaments

UltraDry™ PETG is engineered for one purpose: perfect, predictable printing every time. Each spool is pre‑dried, sealed in barrier‑layer packaging, and protected with UltraDry™ desiccants to eliminate moisture — the #1 cause of PETG print failures.

Why UltraDry™ matters:
• Pre‑dried to <200 ppm moisture for consistent extrusion
• Sealed in multi‑layer barrier packaging to prevent re‑absorption
• Includes UltraDry™ desiccants for long‑term protection
• Dry‑chain custody from factory → warehouse → your printer
• Zero drying required — ever

If you want filament that just works, UltraDry™ is the standard.

Moisture is the silent killer of PETG print quality. Even small amounts of absorbed water cause popping, stringing, blobs, and weak layers. UltraDry™ PETG eliminates this variable by controlling moisture at every stage — manufacturing, packaging, storage, and delivery. The result is filament that prints the same on day 1 and day 100, without the need for drying or guesswork.

Printer Compatibility

UltraDry™ filaments are engineered for maximum reliability across nearly all commercially available FDM 3D printers that use 1.75 mm filament. Thanks to DryFusion™ zero‑moisture processing, UltraDry™ materials deliver consistent extrusion, strong layer bonding, and reduced stringing across open‑frame, enclosed, and CoreXY systems.

Universal Compatibility: Works with any 1.75 mm printer capable of:

  • 240–260°C nozzle temperature (varies by material)
  • 70–90°C heated bed
  • Standard PETG flow rates

Recommended Print Settings

  • Nozzle Temperature: 240–260°C (material‑dependent)
  • Bed Temperature: 70–90°C
  • Cooling: 20–60%
  • Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm recommended; 0.6 mm for high‑flow
  • Nozzle Material: Brass for standard PETG; hardened steel for abrasive materials
  • Bed Surface: PEI textured or smooth
  • Adhesion: Brim recommended for large parts
  • Retraction: 0.6–1.2 mm (direct drive), 2–3 mm (Bowden)
  • Flow Rate: 100–103%

Drying Recommendations (UltraDry™ Filaments)

  • Drying Required: Not required before first use
  • Factory Moisture Level: Up to 4× lower moisture than typical PETG
  • Optional Refresh Cycle: 55–60°C for 2–3 hours if exposed long‑term
  • Why: UltraDry™ starts at true zero‑moisture using DryFusion™ processing

Material‑Specific Adjustments

Transparent PETG

  • Increase nozzle temperature by +5–10°C
  • Slow outer walls to 20–35 mm/s
  • Cooling 30–40%
  • Use enclosure when available
  • Use 4–6 perimeters for clarity
  • Avoid gyroid infill for optical parts

Silk PETG

  • Reduce print speed for best gloss
  • Increase cooling to 40–60%
  • Reduce retraction slightly
  • Slower outer walls improve sheen

Metallic PETG

  • Increase nozzle temperature by +5°C
  • Reduce retraction to avoid pigment clogs
  • Cooling 30–50%
  • Slower outer walls improve metallic sheen
